Not pixel-for-pixel — PDF is a fixed page layout and Word is a reflowable document, so the two can never be identical. Text, paragraphs, tables and images are reconstructed for maximum editability rather than a frozen visual copy.
Yes. A page with no text layer is recognised as a scan and read with on-device OCR (English and Hindi), producing real editable text instead of a picture. OCR quality depends on scan resolution.

No fixed limit, though very long documents — especially scanned ones needing OCR — take longer since everything is processed locally.
Privacy and security
Your file is read directly from your device and processed in your browser. It is never uploaded to a server, so there is no copy for us to keep, share or lose. Closing the tab discards everything. If you want to check this yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use the tool — you will see no request carrying your file or input leave the page.
