Detection usually catches that, and you can also set the separator manually. European exports commonly use semicolons.
Quoted fields are parsed properly, so "Smith, John" stays in one cell instead of splitting into two.

Privacy and security
Your file is read directly from your device and processed in your browser. It is never uploaded to a server, so there is no copy for us to keep, share or lose. Closing the tab discards everything. If you want to check this yourself: open your browser’s developer tools, switch to the Network tab, and use the tool — you will see no request carrying your file or input leave the page.
