Frequently Asked Questions
No — and it is worth being clear about that. It removes solid and near-solid backgrounds. A subject standing in a detailed scene needs an AI cut-out tool instead.
The subject contains a colour close to the background and is connected to the edge. Lower the tolerance to keep it.
Increase edge softening by one or two steps to blend the boundary pixels.
Only formats with an alpha channel can store transparency. Saving as JPG would fill the cleared area with solid colour.
